76 ways to order a coffee in Italy

Desserts

I found a very curious post on Fabrizio Ferri Benedetti's blog, La Cosa Húmeda. Fabrizio, if his name and what he tells us does not deceive us too much, it is Italian, and he has put a list with more than 70 types of coffee, or more correctly said, more than 70 ways to order it. Italians have always had a reputation for knowing how to prepare good coffee, and they also know how to prepare it in many different ways.

The first names in this extensive list are: • Caffè normale • Caffè ristretto • Caffè lungo • Caffè ristretto macchiato broth • Caffè ristretto macchiato freddo • Caffè lungo macchiato broth • Caffè lungo macchiato freddo • Caffè ristretto macchiato caldo macchiato macchiato • Caffè normale schiumato • Caffè normale macchiato broth ....
