Meatballs with mint and sesame. Recipe

I continue with my recipes from Morocco, since traveling, this year is going to be no, at least I stay with the flavors of their cuisine made my home. Today a recipe for meatballs with mint and sesame.

The mint taken from my balcony, the truth is that with a very intense aroma, well loaded the plant these days with heat (and watered with a lot of water and affection), I must say that it is the best mint I have had the opportunity to have since long time. In fact, I still have some of the scent on my hands (yes, I washed them, but that's still there).

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 750 g minced beef, 1 bunch fresh mint, 1 onion, 4 pear tomatoes, 100 g sesame seeds, 1 teaspoon sweet paprika, olive oil and salt.

How to make meatballs with mint and sesame

We wash and cut the mint leaves (only the leaves), chop them well and reserve. We also wash, peel and remove the seeds from the tomatoes, cut them into pieces.

In a frying pan with a little olive oil, poach the tomatoes with a little salt. While we mix the meat with the well-chopped onion, the mint, the sweet paprika and the sesame. We make little meatballs.

Add the meatballs to the casserole with the tomato and sauté about 5 minutes. You have to make the meatballs very small.
