Mix in a bowl the minced meat with half the breadcrumbs and the minced onion. Season with salt and pepper to taste. We form a meat balls about five centimeters in diameter. Here everything depends on you since if you want you can make the meatballs more or less large.

When we have made the meatballs, cut the cheese into cubes and place one on each meatball. It is important that the cheese is well in the center of the meat so that it does not come out at the time of cooking. We beat an egg, we pass each meatball through the flour, then through the egg and finally through what remains of the breadcrumbs.

Heat in oil in a frying pan and fry the meatballs for three or four minutes, turning them at half time. It is important that the fire is not too high so that the meatballs do not burn without starting the internal cooking of the meat. We place all the fried meatballs in a refractory and bake at about 180ºC for about 15 minutes before serving.
