Teriyaki chicken wings. Recipe

Today is the meat recipe, and this time teriyaki chicken wings, a delicious mix of one of the tastiest parts of the chicken and with the oriental touch that this type of marinade brings to meats. Teriyaki is a cooking technique in Japanese cuisine in which food is roasted, baked or grilled, in a sweet sauce marinade. The word "teriyaki" derives from the word "teri", which refers to the shine that the sauce gives it, and "yaki", which refers to the method of cooking it.

In this recipe I have used my oven, but now that the time of barbecues and outdoor meals is coming soon, I invite you to prepare them on the grill, since the times I have eaten them like this I have found them great.

For 4 people
  • Chicken wings 16
  • Teriyaki sauce 60 ml
  • Grated fresh ginger 5 g
  • Honey 25 ml
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make teriyaki chicken wings

Difficulty: Easy
  • Total time 30 m
  • Cooking 30 m
  • Repose 10 m

We will start by cleaning the wings of any feather that has been left, we split them in half. Mix the honey, grated fresh ginger, teriyaki sauce and white pepper in a large bowl to make the marinade. We put the wings in it, mixing the meat well with the sauce. Let it rest for ten minutes in the marinade, and stirring it from time to time so that it soaks up well.

We preheat the oven to 200 degrees, and place a refractory tray lined with baking paper. We place the wings on wooden skewers and arrange them in the source. We bake them for 30 minutes, turning them carefully halfway through cooking.
