Rice pudding, recipe with Thermomix
If there is a recipe that I like to make especially with the Thermomix, it is this recipe for rice pudding. Since I discovered it, the long waits have ended by stirring the casserole so that its contents do not stick and, of course, I have not bought rice pudding in the supermarket either.
I like to serve it sprinkled with plenty of ground cinnamon, but that goes to the taste of the consumer, although I suppose you will all agree with me that there is nothing like a very cold rice pudding, served directly from the fridge. - Round rice 200 g
- Lemon peel (only the yellow part) 1/2
- Orange peel (only the yellow part) 1/2
- Cinnamon stick 1
- Sugar 180 g
- Unsalted butter 70 g
- Ground cinnamon (for sprinkling)

- Elaboration 1 hour
We place the butterfly on the blades. We put the milk, the rice, the lemon and orange peel, the cinnamon and the salt in the glass. We program 45 min / 90ºC / speed 1.
We add the sugar and butter. We program 10 min / 90ºC / speed 1. We remove the lemon and orange peels and the cinnamon stick. We divide the rice pudding among 6 individual plates or bowls and let it cool. We serve sprinkled with ground cinnamon.

This recipe for rice pudding with Thermomix holds perfectly for four or five days in the fridge, although we must always cover the dishes or bowls where we are going to serve it well so that they do not take on moisture or become impregnated with the aromas of other foods.
