Art on the plate by Andrea Bricco

If there is something that I particularly like, it is cooking and eating, and those who know me well can give a good account of it; but the arts in general attract me too and since I started blogging I have tried to capture my taste for photography and food, so when I discovered the work of Andrea Bricco, I could not help but admire the way he shows his art in the dishes he photographs.

Andrea Bricco is a food photographer, based in downtown Los Angeles, who discovered her passion working in family restaurants. Since then he has been photographing food for advertising campaigns, restaurants and various well-known American magazines.

This project has especially caught my attention in which she personifies what she likes the most, food, but in a daily way and representing, in this case, living nature in different ways, either on a plate, or adding beautiful background illustrations.

Different marine or terrestrial landscapes made with pieces of food form beautiful images on a plate, which personally I would be very sorry to destroy, although as a great pastry chef says, art is ephemeral.
