Chickpea and chocolate cake with nuts: recipe with Thermomix
With this recipe for chickpea and chocolate cake with nuts, I am going to ask you to do the same as when I presented you with the cocoa and mayonnaise cake, that is, do not tell your diners what the ingredients are until they have tried it. Take the test, they won't guess.
I do not know if for the chickpeas or for the banana, but the result is a moist and fluffy dough, which with the crisp counterpoint given by the nuts make this one of the best chocolate cakes I have prepared. And it is also very easy to do.

How to make a chickpea and chocolate cake with nutsDifficulty: easy
- Total time 50 m
- Elaboration 5m

We start by preheating the oven to 180ºC. Then, we put the orange peel and the sugar in the glass and pulverize 20 sec / speed 7. Add the chickpeas, the banana, the juice and crush 30 sec / progressive speed 5-10.
With a spatula, lower the ingredients to the bottom of the glass. We place the selector on speed 3.5 (without programming time) and we are adding the eggs one by one through the mouthpiece, until they are completely integrated.
With the machine stopped we incorporate the cocoa, the yeast and we program 10 sec / speed 6. Again we lower the ingredients from the walls towards the bottom of the glass. Add the walnuts and mix with the spatula.
Pour the mixture into a cake pan, previously greased with butter, and bake at 180 ºC for 40 or 45 minutes. Let the cake cool slightly before unmolding and once it is very cold, sprinkle it with ground sugar.
