I go back to a Moroccan recipe, in this case the minced meat briouattes. Making these briouats or briouattes reminds me of my catering days where we had to make a thousand fillings.

We always used the oven to cook them. The truth is that it is how I like them the most, since they are not so greasy. Although they can always be painted with cream instead of butter so that they are less greasy (even).

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 400 g of minced beef or lamb, 1 onion, 1 tablespoon of coriander, 1 tablespoon of parsley, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, pepper, salt, butter and brik pasta.

How to Make Minced Beef Briouattes

Mix the meat with the onion, the parsley, the chives, all finely chopped. We add the cinnamon, the pepper and the salt. And we mix well with the egg.

We cut the brik leaves into 3 or 4. But first we paint them with melted butter. We put a bit of minced meat at one end and we roll it into a triangle.

Put them in the oven at 190 ºC for about 20 minutes.

Tasting

Today I have served the minced meat briouattes with salad and without any sauce. But the truth is that they can be served with many types of sauces. For meat or Asian, I don't know, which one would you give it?
