Balsamic mushroom skewers. Vegetarian recipe

I really like mushrooms, because they are delicious either way. Raw in a salad with lamb's lettuce and tomato, sautéed with garlic, au gratin with a touch of thyme and lemon ... although if you are looking for a striking recipe with mushrooms, I recommend you try these skewers of balsamic mushrooms.

It is an extremely easy recipe to prepare, but one that will not leave anyone indifferent who tries it thanks to its surprising flavor and the balsamic touch provided by the Modena vinegar.

Ingredients for 4-6 skewers

  • 1/2 kg of mushrooms, 70ml of balsamic vinegar of Modena, 3 cloves of garlic, 1/2 teaspoon of oregano, 1/2 teaspoon of basil, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, salt, pepper and parsley.

How to Make Balsamic Mushroom Skewers

We start by cleaning the mushrooms to remove the dirt. We also cut the lower part of the tail, dry them and reserve. On the other hand, in a large bowl, mix the Modena vinegar with the olive oil, the minced garlic cloves, the oregano and the basil. We also add a pinch of salt and pepper.

Now add the mushrooms to this mixture, stirring until well impregnated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes and proceed to assemble the skewers, stringing five or six mushrooms, so that there is room to take them comfortably.

Finally, we place the skewers on a tray with baking paper, and bake for between 15 or 20 minutes with the oven preheated to 225ºC. Serve hot with a little chopped parsley.
