White chocolate brownie and lemon icing: a brownie to surprise

It is to hear the word brownie and make your mouth water, because it is one of the preparations that we like the most and that generally always work out well, but it is a brownie with white chocolate and lemon, then it is already the bomb.

In this case it has the juice and the lemon zest that attenuates the sweetness of the white chocolate with its acid, so there is no sticky brownie, although if you have a sweet tooth like me you can add a glaze on top that gives it a very special point.

  • Butter 100 g
  • Wheat flour 100 g
  • Eggs 2
  • Sugar 80 g
  • Lemon juice 40 ml
  • Lemon zest 1
  • Egg white (for icing)
  • Icing sugar (for icing) 100 g
  • Lemon juice, 2 tablespoons (for the icing)

How to make white chocolate brownie and lemon frosting

We will start by preheating the oven to 180 degrees. We will continue melting the white chocolate and butter in the bain-marie, reserving it to warm.

In a large bowl beat the eggs with the sugar until they are frothy and a whitish mixture turns. Add the chocolate and butter mixture, stir well to mix everything.

We add the lemon zest, the juice and the flour finally, we mix until we form a smooth dough and without lumps.

Pour the pasta into a square pan that is greased and covered with baking paper. Bake for 40 minutes at 160 degrees.

To glaze it, we beat the white gently adding the icing sugar, once we have obtained a smooth and shiny icing we add the lemon juice. We pour the icing over the surface of the cake when it is cold and let it dry for a while.
