Bundt cake with burnt yolk nougat. Harvesting recipe

It is worth acquiring some extra bars of nougat to be able to take advantage of them in recipes such as this burnt yolk nougat bundt cake that I discovered walking around the internet, specifically on Manu's blog. In this way we can prepare it for the rest of the year.

It is an ideal dough to dip in a drink, because it is very dense and does not melt easily despite being wet. I think this recipe is perfect to take advantage of nougats, surely with any other flavor it will be just as delicious. We will have to try it!

We start by preheating the oven to 180ºC.We grease the bundt cake mold and reserve it. We sift together the flour, salt, yeast and baking soda. We cut the nougat very often. We beat the butter with the sugar until it is a fluffy and whitish cream.

Add the nougat and continue beating until the mixture reaches the consistency of a cream. Add the eggs one by one, beating well after adding each one. Incorporate the flour alternating with the cream, starting and ending with the flour.

Pour the dough into the reserved mold, allowing it to spread out well, and finally, hit the mold several times on the counter so that there are no air bubbles inside the dough. Finally, we cook about 45 minutes or until a prick with a toothpick it comes out clean.

Take the mold out of the oven and let it rest on a rack for about 15 minutes, then remove it from the mold, let it cool completely and finally sprinkle it with ground sugar before serving.

What to accompany the burnt yolk nougat bundt cake

This recipe for burnt yolk nougat bundt cake can also be prepared in another mold, although it is not the typical one with the central hole. It is ideal to serve at breakfast or snack, with a glass of cold milk, tea or coffee. I recommend you keep the one that is over in an airtight container, so that it does not become too hard.
