Squid with potatoes, recipe with Thermomix


On these cold days at home, warm stews are desirable, so today I bring you one of the last that we have eaten these squid with potatoes and in Thermomix version. They are easy, fast and they are delicious.

With the rhythm of life that we lead, the truth is that these stews with Thermomix that are made almost alone and allow you to do something else at the same time. They are a luxury. It is true that there is nothing like traditional cooking, but when time is scarce, we must use the tools we have at our disposal to continue eating well.


For 2 persons
  • Fresh squid 400 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil 40 g
  • Onion 1
  • Garlic clove 2
  • Potato 2
  • Italian green pepper 1
  • White wine 100 ml
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

How to make squid with potatoes in Thermomix

Clean the squid very well, season and reserve. Peel the onion and garlic cloves and place them in the Thermomix glass. Slow all speed 5 for a few seconds. Lower the remains with the spatula and add the olive oil to make the sauce, programming 7 minutes, speed 2, varoma temperature.

Peel the potatoes and cut them into 'bites' with the knife, which is irregularly shaped. Wash the pepper and cut it into medium squares. Then add the squid, pepper, and potatoes. We put the half glass of white wine and cover with water. We program 20 minutes, varoma temperature, speed 1, turn to the left and without beaker. If at the end you see that the potatoes are somewhat hard, program a few more minutes.
