Small baskets of cheese and garlic. Recipe


It must be that I have been lazy for two days (probably due to the cold) but I am managing to survive with what I have at home without having to go shopping. Today with these cheese and garlic tartlets that should be called subsistence tartlets.

I had leftover tartlets from the ones I made with mushrooms, garlic sprouts and serrano ham, I always have cream, cheese and garlic sprouts from the avalanche the other day. Almost the same ingredients, but a totally different recipe.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 12 medium tartlets, 1 egg, 100 ml of cream, 30 g of red cheddar, 30 g of gouda, 4 garlic sprouts and salt.

How to make cheese and garlic baskets

We just have to mix the cream with the egg.

Add the chopped garlic, the chopped cheese and mix.

Fill the tartlets and bake at 180 ºC for 15 minutes.

We still serve the cheese and garlic baskets hot. Although I know more than one who would eat them from time to time, in fact they are usually served that way in catering.
