Shopping at the supermarket, my feat? weekly

Desserts

Although I often make the firm intention of shopping outside the weekend, for a thousand reasons I have not yet succeeded, so every Saturday I wield the cart as if it were Don Quixote's spear. That's why I usually say that shopping at the supermarket is my weekly feat.

My children, who like almost all children are fixed rock and want to repeat the same game every week, they love when I tell them an ingredient, sugar for example, and run through the corridors to see who can bring it to me first. The more people or obstacles the more fun the pastime is.

I suppose you have heard about the techniques that supermarkets have to make us buy more. I also know them but, still, I fall for them. It drives me crazy that the articles change places, with how stubborn I am, I don't stop until I find the one I'm looking for, so I spin more than a top. In the same time that my children find three products, I only find one, it is not a matter of ramming the cart either.

In addition, there are so many brands and so much variety that I waste precious time deciding and calculating whether it is better for me to take two small packages or if I save by buying the large package. And the music? I know it is a marketing strategy, that the most funky melodies induce buying, but it only gives me an intense headache and misleads me in my comparison of articles.

As for keeping a shopping list and sticking to it, I am incapable. I come home with more things than I need, under the cover of "just in case", and I let myself be tempted by all the offers and by having What danger I have! Do you understand why I say that shopping is my weekly feat? I hope you have more will than mine or not?
