Coq D'Or with salami from Casa Sendra
The French publication Le Guide des Gourmands, a guide to the best artisan gastronomy products from all over Europe, has awarded the Coq D'Or award as the best Spanish product to the salami from Casa Sendra, a family business that produces artisan products and distributes it in stores gourmet.
The characteristic of Vic's llonganissa is a natural preparation, with salt and pepper and without any additive. They also know perfectly well the ranchers in the area and make their own slaughter.
Le Guide des Gourmands has a reputation for not being very benevolent with foreign products, and that is why Pablo Arboix, owner of the company, feels very proud although he does not trust that this will give him more sales in the neighboring country. In any case, they make limited productions, which although they are increasing little by little, they prefer to have them controlled and sold before production, as it is a perishable product, it should always have a palate that enjoys it.
We hope to be able to enjoy a llonganissa from Casa Sendra soon, and if you have already tried it, what are you waiting for to say if you liked it?
