Lamb with orange and honey with rosemary potatoes


Baked lamb is a delicacy that fills the palate with an exquisite flavor, it does not require much dressing to be a star dish, but if we want to vary its flavor and elevate it to the finest palates, Lamb with orange and honey is delicious with rosemary potatoes, take note.

The ingredients 1 shoulder (or leg) of lamb, 1 orange, 3 dessert spoons of rosemary honey, 200 milliliters of white wine, 1 tablespoon of black pepper berries, ½ kilo of potatoes, 1 large onion, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 sprig of rosemary, ground black pepper, olive oil and salt.

The preparation Put the oven to heat to 180º C. Grease the baking tray with olive oil and also the lamb shoulder, season with ground black pepper and salt. Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices, also the onions and peel and mash the garlic. Put everything in a baking dish, sprinkle with salt, rosemary, pour with oil and mix well.

When the oven has reached the right temperature, place the tray with the lamb at medium height in the oven and a little lower the source with the potatoes.

Grate the orange peel and place it in a bowl, squeeze the orange and add the juice to the bowl along with the wine, honey and black pepper berries.

After 20 minutes of the introduction of the lamb in the oven, which you have already turned once, pour with the prepared orange juice and cook for another 40 minutes, turning from time to time and pouring with the juice.

When the potatoes are cooked and lightly browned and the lamb is subtly caramelised and toasted, serve your plates and get ready to lick your fingers.
