Baked ribs with honey

This is one of those recipes that I wanted to try but I did not know if the rest of my family would like it, although these baked ribs with honey have been a discovery for everyone, we liked them a lot and now I will have to repeat them often.

Even the leftovers were eaten by my son for dinner. So if you prepare more than necessary, don't worry, it will be just as good whether or not you reheat it. You will tell me.

For 4 people
  • Pork ribs (split into two or three pieces) 1,500 g
  • Concentrated chicken broth 1 tablet
  • Fresh thyme
  • Fresh rosemary
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Honey 5 tablespoons
  • Water 100 ml
  • Extra virgin olive oil

How to bake honey ribs

Difficulty: easy
  • Total time 2 h 15 m
  • Elaboration 15 m
  • Cooking 2 h

In a tray that can go to the oven, we put the pieces of meat, season them, sprinkle them with thyme and rosemary and water them with a good jet of oil.

In a saucepan, we put the water to heat, add the broth tablet and put it on the fire so that it dissolves. Remove the saucepan from the heat, add the honey and stir with a spoon.

We water the meat with this mixture and put the tray in the preheated oven at 200ºC for an hour and a half or two hours. In order for it to be done well on both sides, it is best that every 20 minutes we turn the meat over and sprinkle it with the liquid.

With what to accompany the ribs in the oven with honey

The good thing about these ribs baked with honey is that a delicious sauce is formed that you can serve in a separate sauce boat so that each diner is served the amount they want. If you have time, marinate the meat in advance, it will soak well and it will be very tasty.
