  • Sweet white wine 50 g
  • Refined corn flour 5

How to make plum crumble

We begin by making the crumble mixture, so we can let it rest in the cold for a few minutes before needing it to cover the fruit. To do this, mix the flour, sugar and diced butter in a bowl. We work with the fingertips until homogeneous and achieve a texture similar to crumbs. We let it rest in the fridge.

Meanwhile, we peel the plums and cut them into segments as similar in size as possible. In this way, all the pieces will be cooked equally, without leaving any harder than the other. We place the plum in a small baking dish. If the plums are too acidic, we sprinkle with a tablespoon of sugar (although this is totally optional).

Mix the sweet white wine with the cornmeal, stirring so that there are no lumps, and pour it over the plum. We spread the crumble over the plum, trying to cover the entire surface. We introduce the source in a pre-heated oven at 180 ºC and cook for 30 minutes or until the surface turns golden. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving.
