It has been a little over a year that Ediciones Trea has spent part of its time in gastronomic publications.

He recently released a new book written by Bartolomeo Scappi, his book On the Art of Cooking, one of the greats of Western cuisine.

Scappi is to the history of cooking what Michelangelo is to art.

Italy is the cradle of modern cuisine, this author dates back to the 16th century and the first edition of this book was made in 1570.

At that time, Italian cuisine enjoyed being above the kitchens of the rest of Europe. This book is also known as the Renaissance Kitchen Bible.

A very careful translation into Spanish, an extensive introduction to this historical book and a glossary of terms are made available to Spanish readers to be able to recreate in the 800 recipes and classified illustrations that date from that time and of which some passed into the kitchen Spanish.
