El Celler de Can Roca returns as the best restaurant in the world

After losing the scepter as the leader of world gastronomy last year in favor of the Danish Noma, El Celler de Can Roca returns as the best restaurant in the world according to the British magazine Restaurant, which has just released its 50 Best list of the best establishments.

René Redzepi's Noma, which once topped the list, now moves to third place, while second place is held by Osteria Francescana Modena in Italy. Regarding the rest of Spanish restaurants, seven in total have managed to sneak among the fifty chosen ones, with Andoni Luis Aduriz's Mugaritz restaurant being the next on the list, in a remarkable sixth position.

They complete the Arzak list in position 17, the Asador Extebarri de Bittor Arguinzoniz, which goes up to square 13, the Azurmendi restaurant, in 19, the Quique Dacosta local in Dénia, at number 39, and finally, the Tickets restaurant by Albert Adrià, which entered the list of the 50 best restaurants in the world for the first time at number 42.
