The Ying Yang of food
These concepts belong to Eastern cultures that express the origin of everything, that is, for something to happen it is necessary for the two concepts to interact.
People who practice energy cooking believe that there is a Ying Yang of food and clearly differentiate them. They consider Ying foods those that give us a feeling of lightness, produce effects that are perceived quickly and taking them in excess produces confusion, a tendency to depression, lack of appetite, etc. In the line of the Ying are alcoholic beverages, coffee, strong spices, sweets, some nuts, etc. The foods that they consider Yang are those that produce a heavy effect on us, we perceive their sensations slowly and if you overdo them, you create irritability, impatience, aggressiveness. Yang foods are meat, dry and salty cheeses, salt, etc.
The rest of the foods are considered moderate, that is, halfway between Ying and Yang and are legumes, vegetables, algae, fish, etc.
Our personal Ying Yang tells us that all food is necessary in its proper measure. Do you share this philosophy?
