Chicken fajitas in pepper sauce. Recipe
The concept of fajitas is typical of Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine and represents a rather interesting alternative to consuming chicken without falling into the usual recipes and preparations. If the pepper is very common as an ingredient in dishes of various styles, it is less common to use them with the stellar element of some sauces. This is exactly what we will do this time.
Today I propose a recipe that I always love to make at home since it is very convenient for its flavor and simplicity of preparation. These are chicken fajitas in pepper sauce, full of flavor that will surely be a success at mealtime with family or friends. You can taste them with some rice, some pasta or better with some typical Mexican corn tortillas.

We clean the peppers and cut them into medium-large pieces. We put them to roast in a frying pan covered with aluminum foil ** until they are burned **. Then we place them in the glass of a blender with the cream, the garlic clove, the onion, salt and pepper. Blend well for a minute. We reserve.
We clean the chicken breasts well and cut into strips about 8 cm long to form fajitas. Heat a little olive oil in a frying pan and seal the chicken. Season with the cumin, the paprika, salt and pepper. We leave in the middle fire until they are golden.
Remove the chicken from the pan and without cleaning it, add a little butter and pour the previously prepared pepper sauce. We leave in the high fire for about five minutes and add the chicken fajitas. We lower the fire to the minimum and leave another five minutes before serving.
What to accompany the chicken fajitas in pepper sauce
I recommend you enjoy these chicken fajitas in a hot pepper sauce with white rice or corn tortillas that you can make yourself or buy from specialized stores. A very cold light beer would combine very well with this recipe of Mexican influence.
