Orange balsamic strawberries with creamy cheese: fresh dessert recipe
Following several conversations I have had with friends and acquaintances praising the strawberry and strawberry season, I have come to realize that almost everyone has their traditional way of enjoying them. Apparently with vinegar they are a very typical dish in many homes, and I have to confirm that it is a delight. The ideal for this recipe is to use high quality strawberries, ripe and above all very aromatic and juicy. The amount of vinegar and honey can be adjusted to each palate, and although I have used a creamy base of fresh cheese they will also be delicious on Greek yogurt, mascarpone cheese or another similar dairy.

Mix in a bowl the balsamic vinegar of Modena, the vinegar of Sherry, the salt, the black pepper, the syrup of agave or honey and the juice of the orange, approximately half a glass. Reserve the skin. Taste the sweetness point and adjust the amount of syrup or honey to taste.
Wash and dry the strawberries well. Remove the tails and cut into sheets or cubes of more or less the same size. Arrange in a bowl and cover with the marinade, mixing well. Let stand in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
Beat the skimmed fresh cheese well with sugar to taste if necessary, until leaving a very creamy texture. Distribute in two bowls or glasses and add the strawberries, watering with a little of the remaining juices. Finely chop a few basil leaves or fresh mint and grate a little orange peel for garnish.
What to accompany balsamic strawberries
This recipe for balsamic strawberries in orange with creamy cheese is a delicious dessert that is best served cold, although letting it temper a little to fully appreciate all the flavors. If we prepare it in advance, the best thing is to serve the fruit rations on the cheese at the moment it is going to be tasted, to avoid that the juices are diluted too much.Tags: Meats And Birds Vegetables And Legumes Desserts
