Design gastronomy with affordable prices
We have always associated design gastronomy with high prices, in fact this has been until recently a world exclusively for wealthy people who could enjoy different creative, original and innovative gastronomic elaborations. To this we must add that the high-class and designer gastronomy always used high-quality ingredients and large size, eels, caviar, black leg ham, etc.
This has changed and design gastronomy is characterized by using all kinds of ingredients. We were in a restaurant called Les Moles, located in Ulldecona (Tarragona) and we were amazed. The chef of this restaurant proposed us to try his tasting menu, which was made up of a large number of dishes. In this menu you could taste delicacies made with really cheap ingredients, eggs, cabalaza, sardines, etc., with cheaper ingredients, what mostly puts the price on the dishes is the successful preparation.
The new generations of young chefs seduce with their creativity and their prices, although we can still find designer gastronomy with astronomical prices. We are committed to new creations and the way of thinking that these young chefs have, who through their art and know-how, always try to seduce us with prices that are more in line. Even when they use higher quality ingredients and consequently more expensive, they adjust so that we can all enjoy the new gastronomy.
