French cuisine at Julie's La Despensa
Sometimes when you live in a big city you don't know all the areas and their secrets perfectly. Last week I ended up taking a walk around the city (Madrid) and discovered a shop with gourmet products from the Gallic country. It's called Julie's Pantry and it has a selection of the most representative flavors of France.
The meat and fish sauces, the typical foie gras and the confits such as duck stand out. It should be noted that they have a wide selection of salts that will delight foodies.
The oils really caught my attention, among which are hazelnut or argan, in beautiful and practical containers.
If you opt for sweet products, you can enjoy jams such as pear or banana and vanilla banana jams or bread with spices or honey. And also a careful selection of cookies and chocolates, such as Escribà or Fauchon.
In addition, it has a very simple website where you can make your purchase in a few minutes. It is divided into sections, which highlight the offers or the latest products that are added to the usual catalog. It's worth a look, although it still doesn't work 100%.
