Incredible table made with baguettes
I love food projects. Every time I browse for a while I notice that more artists or design studios use perishable elements to capture their projects. This incredible table made with baguettes is a good example of what I am telling you and in addition to being very original and special for me given everything I like and love bread, it was designed in a vindictive way which makes it even more special.
This table created by two Austrian designers, Gosia and Rygalik Tomek, was created with the mere intention of making people aware of the huge amount of good food that ends up in the garbage, and that could feed a lot of people. In this case, hard baguettes from previous days were used, cut at different heights to create the piece of furniture.
He is part of an exhibition in Italy, along with other artists and works, and he also wants to show that the creation of objects can be done from simple, everyday things, and above all recycled, not only with virgin materials. You can see it at the Museo di Arte Moderna e Contemporánea di Trento e Rovereto, between February 9 and June 2, 2013.
I hope you found this incredible table made with baguettes as surprising as it did me. If anyone has the opportunity to visit this exhibition, do not miss this opportunity because I believe that the exhibition in which this work is included must be really perfect for lovers of gastronomy.
