English Sauce or Worcester Sauce
Worcestershire sauce is a liquid condiment widely used to season meats and to prepare endless recipes. Its origins go back to the year 1830 when the English colonized India.
The original recipe for Worcester sauce was a secret for many years and its ingredients are tamarind pulp, hot peppers, anchovies, soy, vinegar, molasses, cloves, garlic and onion. The sauce is obtained by fermenting the ingredients in vinegar.
