Lean lamb with oriental-style yogurt sauce

Most of the time we eat lamb, we choose the chops to grill or we choose the shoulder or leg to cook them in the oven as we do at Christmas. However, this meat has many possibilities and this time I wanted to prepare slices of lean lamb with an oriental-style yogurt sauce that I hope you like.

The process is relatively simple since it is enough to sauté the meat tacos for a few minutes and finish cooking them in the oven, where we will accompany them with potatoes and spices to achieve a very aromatic flavor that we will qualify with the yogurt sauce. Enjoy your meal!

  • Boneless leg of lamb cut in blocks 1
  • Small Potato Garnish 6
  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Ras el hanout to taste

How to make lean lamb with yogurt sauce oriental style

We start by cutting the lamb into clean blocks of fat. Meanwhile, we are cooking the potatoes in salted water for 15 minutes. Then we drain them and cut them in half. So we can distribute them in a baking dish where they will finish cooking together with the meat.

Sauté the boneless lean lamb tacos in a frying pan for two or three minutes and pour them over the baking dish with the potatoes, letting the cooking juices also fall. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and a tablespoon of paprika and bake for 15 minutes so that the meat and potatoes have a golden appearance.

On the other hand, we prepare a yogurt sauce with oriental inspiration, mixing the natural yogurt with a tablespoon of olive oil, a pinch of pepper and half a teaspoon of spices ras el hanutWe finish by serving one or two tablespoons of the yogurt sauce on the meat, bringing the rest of the sauce to the table so that each one is served at will.
