Mattel recalls a batch of kitchen toys made in Mexico
Mattel, one of the world's largest toy manufacturers, has decided to withdraw more than 150,000 Fischer-Price brand toys, made in Mexico, from the US and European markets today, given the danger that children could choke on some of the pieces of Laugh & Learn Learning kitchens.
It is not the first time that we have news of the withdrawal of products of this brand due to the lack of security of some of the elements of the toys manufactured in China. We were already informed abundantly about this by the companions of Babies and more.
Now it is the turn of toys made in Mexico. Specifically, it is that parts of the tap and clock of the Laugh & Learn Learning toy kitchen do not meet safety standards as they can come loose and there is a danger that children can choke on them.
The toy is a small kitchen for children between 6 and 36 months that has a refrigerator, a stove with an oven and a sink separated by an arch, and that was sold in the US market for about $ 70.
If you own one of these toys, do not hesitate to follow the recommendations of the American Commission for Consumer Safety (CPSC); namely, remove this toy from the reach of children and contact the manufacturer.
