Mc Donald's incorporates nutritional labels
McDonald's wants to get rid of the image that weighs so heavily on the chain, harmful food, junk food, unhealthy food and many more topics attributed to these fast food restaurants.
A couple of years ago he began to develop a campaign against obesity through the new menus of varied salads, fruits and yogurts. Now, as part of this campaign, a nutritional label will be incorporated into the packaging of these products. From now on, whoever goes to one of the restaurants in this chain will find the nutritional information of the product they are going to consume. Fat, calories, protein or carbohydrates among other data, will be reflected on the labels. Spain and the United Kingdom have been the first countries where this new label has been launched, the next step will be to introduce it worldwide.
We are very happy with the introduction of salads, healthy desserts for children and the new nutrition information labels, but whoever goes to McDonald's knows what they are going for and will eat what they want, then, if the hamburgers and potatoes continue being foods full of saturated fat, we will not have any solution, simply awareness of what you eat, because let's not fool ourselves, surely you have a friend who says that he will never stop eating hamburgers from this fast food.
