Mango mousse: easy and refreshing recipe with video included
As has happened with other tropical fruits, years ago it was not easy to find mangoes in greengrocers and, when it was found, the price made it prohibitive. At home he used to enter very special occasions and perhaps that is why I always associated him with celebrations. Fortunately this is already the case for us and mango is available to us throughout the year (or almost) so that we can prepare delicious desserts with it, such as this mango mousse.
An easy recipe that takes little time to prepare. You just have to be a little patient and wait for the normal cold weather for the mango mousse to acquire consistency. Otherwise it's a matter of a quarter of an hour and you're done. The reward for waiting is a very refreshing, creamy and flavorful dessert, almost ethereal, which is the same for everyday use as it is to finish off a special occasion.

We heat the water, add the neutral gelatin and stir until dissolved. We reserve keeping the mixture warm. Peel and chop the mangoes, put them in the glass of a mixer together with the sugar and the vanilla essence. We crush until obtaining a homogeneous puree and without any fruit remains. Add the yogurt and beat again.
Add a tablespoon of the previous mixture to that of the gelatin and stir, repeat two or three times before pouring the content into the container with the mango puree. With this we get the gelatin to cool little by little and do not form lumps.
We assemble the cream, which will have to be very cold, with some electric rods taking care not to pass us so that it does not cut us. Add the whipped cream to the mango mixture and mix with enveloping movements until homogeneous. Let cool for at least 4 hours before distributing in glasses or cups, decorate to taste and serve.
What to accompany the mango mousse
I have always thought that desserts do not need accompaniment, although there are some that coffee after dinner is very good for. This is not the case with this mango mousse that fits in on its own. Perhaps we can serve it with a glass of sweet wine or a shot. A pleasure reserved for adults.Tags: Desserts Fish Vegetables And Legumes
