Chicken drumsticks in creamy white wine sauce. Recipe
Chicken thighs are one of my favorite pieces both because of their texture and because of their different flavor compared to other pieces of chicken like the breast. For its part, white wine is a very interesting ingredient since it gives a preparation a touch of acidity that, if well integrated, can be extremely attractive. Combining everything in this recipe for chicken drumsticks in creamy white wine sauce is a delight.
Today I offer you this recipe for chicken drumsticks in a creamy red wine sauce. So that this sauce is not exactly too acidic, we will add crème fraiche that will balance the whole. In the case of a dish in sauce you can perfectly well prepare it in advance and simply reheat it when you go to serve it.

Let's first remove the skin from each thigh and place them in a pan with the melted butter and a teaspoon of olive oil. We will seal them for about eight minutes on each side over medium high heat. We remove them from the fire and in the same pan, without washing it, add another teaspoon of oil.
Chop the onion that we fry for about three minutes. Pour in the white wine, the chicken broth and dilute the crème fraiche. Stir, season with salt, pepper and thyme. We lower the fire to a minimum, put the thighs back in the pan and cover. We leave on the fire, always low, for about 20 minutes approximately.
