Original dishes decorated with sports silhouettes, to play with food
When we were little they kept repeating to us that you don't play with food, but it seems that this maxim is increasingly obsolete. Chefs, artists and designers bet on creations that seek to interact with food in original ways. A good example is the plates decorated with original designs, like this series with sports silhouettes.
It is one of the collections of the Polish creator Boguslaw Sliwinski, whose series for children we already saw some time ago. Sliwinski is once again committed to enhancing the game with food with a new series, Sports (sports), aimed more at adult diners.
In total there are five plates of identical shape and size, made of white ceramic with 26 centimeters in diameter, each decorated with a small and simple black silhouette. Each figure represents an athlete performing perfectly identifiable actions: kicking, skydiving, about to jump from the heights, dragging and lifting weights.
The idea of this author is to offer a minimalist and elegant design while encouraging creativity on the plate so that each diner distributes their vegetables recreating original scenes. The silhouettes of the little man are discreet and can certainly give a lot of play if we have guests at home to watch a sporting event on television.
