Curried banana bread with chocolate. Recipe

Desserts

As soon as I saw this recipe for Chocolate Curried Banana Bread on Tastespotting, it struck me as such an exotic combination that I was looking forward to trying it. The recipe is from the author of the Closet Cooking blog.

Finally this weekend I prepared it and it is really exquisite, the combination of curry with bananas and chocolate is perfect.

The ingredients: 1 and 3/4 cups of flour, 3/4 of a cup of brown sugar, 3 very ripe bananas (plantains or bananas), 2 eggs, 1/2 cup of butter (115 grams) at room temperature, 1 / 2 cup sour cream, 1 tablespoon curry, 1 teaspoon baking powder (Royal powder), 1/4 teaspoon salt, 1 cup chocolate drops, and 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

Preparation: begin by beating the butter and sugar until they are creamy. Then the eggs are added and then the sour cream and beating continues.

Separately, the three bananas are crushed and added to the mixture. Then the previously sifted flour, salt, Royal powder and curry are added and everything is mixed very well.

Finally the chocolate and nuts are added and stirred into the mixture with the help of a paddle.

It is taken to the preheated oven at 180ºC in a rectangular mold and baked for 60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. And ready!!

If you like curry and you like bananas, be sure to try this recipe ...
