To be honest, I had not used this spice until relatively recently, but I confess that I am a declared fan of both its many properties and its wonderful color that brings a note of joy and ease to any dish it is incorporated into.
And that is what happens with this recipe for turmeric rolls that I propose today. The recipe is explained to make it with Thermomix, but if you do not have this robot you can do the same recipe but you will have to knead by hand. Be that as it may, I recommend it, it is delicious.

- Milk 200 ml
- Extra virgin olive oil 30 ml
- Eggs 2
- Salt to taste
- Fresh baker's yeast 20 g
- Ground turmeric 10 g
- Force flour 500 g

We put the water, the milk, the oil, the egg and the teaspoon of salt in the Thermomix glass and program 2 minutes, temperature 37º, speed 2. Add the crumbled yeast, the turmeric and the strength flour and mix for 10 seconds speed 5. Next, knead 5 minutes, speed spike. We let it rest in the glass until the volume doubles, about an hour.
Knead 1 minute again, spike speed to remove the air and divide the dough into portions of about 25 gr. We form the loaves giving them a round shape. We place them on a baking tray in which we have previously placed a baking paper.
We let rise until the volume doubles. Another hour or so. We preheat the oven to 220ºC. We lower the oven temperature to 200º. We spray the inside of the oven with water and put the buns. Bake 7 minutes at 200º. If we see that they are going to burn, it is best to cover them with baking paper until they are completely done.
