Sesame and honey pasta, an easy and delicious recipe to accompany after dinner meals

This recipe for sesame and honey pastes is an excellent opportunity for you to start preparing some cookies, if you have not yet dared to make them, because they are so easy to prepare that even a child would be able to make them by himself. For those of you who already have experience, it will be a very simple task.

I try to always have some homemade pasta or biscuits in the pantry. My children like them much more than the bought ones and if one of my nephews comes, the first thing they do is look in the pantry in case they find a new recipe surprise.

For 4 people
  • Whole wheat flour 250 g
  • Butter at room temperature 100 g
  • Egg 1
  • Honey 64 g
  • Toasted sesame seeds, 2 tablespoons
  • Yolk 1

Cut the butter into small cubes. Add the flour, the egg, the two tablespoons of sesame and the honey. Work the mixture with your fingers until you get a homogeneous dough.

Form a cylinder of about 4 cm in diameter, wrap it in plastic wrap and leave it to rest in the fridge for at least 2 hours. After that time, cut the dough into 1/2 cm thick slices and finish shaping them with your hands.

Preheat the oven to 170ºC. Place the pasta on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, paint the surface with the whipped yolk and sprinkle with the rest of the sesame. Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool before serving.

With what to accompany the sesame and honey pastes

This recipe for sesame and honey pastes is ideal for breakfasts and snacks, or even for a snack between meals to help us endure until the next meal. I recommend you store them in an airtight container to prevent them from becoming excessively soft.
