Picantones curry with apple, plums and honey in Crock Pot. Recipe with exotic airs
Since the crock pot, slow cooker or slow cooker came to my kitchen, my life and the way I organize my meals have taken a 360 degree turn. I have recently started using it, but I am delighted with the results. One of my first recipes have been these spicy curries with apples, plums and honey, about which I have nothing but words of praise because they are an absolute delight.
There are foods that slow cooking does not feel particularly good, but this is not the case for birds that earn a lot with the love of a low, long and controlled temperature. In the preparation of these spicy curries with apple, plums and honey I spent 15 minutes, the pot was taken over from the rest which, in four hours, worked magic with the chicks. Wonderful.
IngredientsFor 4 people
- Picantones (small ration chickens) 2
- Ground curry 20 g
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Purple Onion 2

- Honey 40 g

We start by marinating the picantones so that the meat is impregnated with the flavor and aroma of the curry. Mix the oil, the curry and a teaspoon of salt in a bowl. With this we cover the entire surface of the picantones well. We wrap them individually in transparent paper and leave them to marinate in the fridge for 10-12 hours. If we do it at night, the next day they will be perfect.
We remove the picantones from the fridge and let them temper. Peel the onions, cut them into julienne strips and cover the base of the Crock Pot casserole with them. We peel the apples, we core them and cut them into wedges. We cover the onion with the apple and the plums and season. We place the oak picantones, breasts up, and water with the honey.
We program the Crock Pot for four hours at low temperature. If we want to give a crisp touch to the skin, we remove the picantones once roasted and place them on a baking tray lined with aluminum foil. We put it in the oven and gratin the picantones at 220ºC turning them over to brown on all sides. We serve immediately.
With what to accompany the spicy curry with apple, plums and honey
I think the cover image speaks for itself and it is clear that these apple, plum and honey curry picantones are a juicy and tasty snack. The sweet touch of honey and fruit, together with the spicy curry, give the picantones a very exotic flavor. We will be right if we serve them as food and accompany them with a simple couscous.Tags: Desserts Vegetables And Legumes Fish
