Zucchini and arugula pizza. Recipe


Every month he plays pizza. This year we have taken the opportunity to pay our tribute on the same day that a well-known pizzeria offered pizzas at a scandalous price. So, I have decided to make my own zucchini and arugula pizza recipe at a much more outrageous price. And also much richer.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • For the dough, 500 grams of haria, 250 grams of warm water, 8 grams of dry yeast, a pinch of salt, a tablespoon of sugar, 20 grams of olive oil.
  • On top, 6 tablespoons of tomato sauce, basil, mozzarella, a zucchini and arugula.

Making the zucchini and arugula pizza

First, it is about making a lifelong margarita pizza to which we will add the ingredients we want. In this case zucchini and arugula.

In a flour volcano we add all the ingredients of the dough. We mix and knead until it comes off our hands. At that point we let it rest until it doubles in volume.

We return to knead and stretch with the help of a roller and give it the thickness of a 2 euro coin.

We put the tomato sauce and stretch it on top. We add the mozzarella and the basil.

Next we add the ingredients that we want. In our case we wanted to make a vegetable pizza and we are going to add the zucchini cut into strips with a peeler.

Cook the pizza at 210ºC for about 12 minutes. Add at the end, and out of the oven, the arugula.

The arugula gives our zucchini pizza recipe a very original crunchy and slightly spicy touch. The truth is that arugula is a fascinating ingredient for salads and many other preparations. We will always add it at the end.
