Potato pizzas with chorizo. Recipe


Well, calling it potato and chorizo ​​pizzas might be saying a lot. But it is that the English have better names than we do for this type of recipe. Or at least translated it is a bit weird, "baked potato skins".

It's the same thing that happened to me in a recipe for twice baked potatoes that I made a long time ago. I put the name in Spanish and the truth is that it is more accurate in English, at least it doesn't sound so bad.

Ingredients for 4 people

  • 8 small potatoes, 50 g of diced chorizo, 50 g of mozzarella, 4 tablespoons of tomato sauce, olive oil and salt.

How to make potatoes with chorizo ​​in pizza format

We cut the potatoes in half lengthwise. We make some cuts, we season with salt, we put a little olive oil. Bake at 200ºC for about 30 minutes.

We take them out and let them cool, with a spoon we empty them a little. Add a little tomato, cheese and chorizo.

Bake again at 200ºC for 10 minutes.

These types of recipes are, for me, special for certain moments especially for snacks or dinners in which you spend a little, because from time to time you have to go over. So now you know, a different way to eat pizza and especially to enjoy some original skin potatoes.
