Chicken sauteed with pineapple and peanuts: recipe without complications

  • Chicken breast 250 g
  • Pineapple in syrup, cut 200 g
  • Peanuts without salt 150 g
  • Onion 100 g
  • Extra virgin olive oil 15 ml
  • Soy sauce 30 ml
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

How to make sautéed chicken with pineapple and peanuts

We start by putting the peanuts in a frying pan over medium heat and let them toast for about eight minutes. We remove them from the fire and reserve. Now we continue with the chicken, cutting it into pieces about three centimeters wide. Cut the onion into julienne strips and heat the olive oil in a large skillet or wok.

When the oil is hot, sauté the onion, a couple of minutes and over medium heat. Then we add the chicken in pieces. We remove and season. We leave on the fire at low intensity for about eight minutes, stirring occasionally. Add the peanuts and chopped pineapple and leave another five minutes over low heat. To finish, add the soy sauce, stir everything well again and cook for the last five minutes.
