Chicken stir fry with vegetables in BBQ sauce. Quick and easy recipe
I have always found BBQ sauce very interesting since, despite being quite simple to make, it can give a meat a very good flavor. Traditionally this sauce is used for pork ribs but over time we have seen it in many other preparations. White meats can also be highly favored with this type of very well defined flavors.
It is with this perspective that today I propose you this recipe for sauteed chicken with BBQ sauce that is a true delight. It is really very simple and quick to make, so it will be an excellent alternative for a lunch or dinner when you do not have much time available for cooking.

How to make stir-fried chicken with BBQ sauceDifficulty: easy
- Total time 30 m
- Elaboration 10 m
- Cooking 20 m
To start this recipe we are going to cut the chicken into squares. We cut in the same way the pepper, previously deveined, as well as the red onion. Heat the olive oil in a frying pan and fry the onion first for about three minutes. Then add the pepper and chicken. Season with salt, pepper and leave in the medium low fire for about 10 minutes.
For the preparation of the BBQ sauce we are going to heat the chicken stock to the boiling point. Then we lower the fire to the minimum and add the ketchup, the sugar, the Worcestershire sauce, paprika, salt and pepper. We mix everything very well and leave it on the fire, always at low intensity, for about 10 minutes. Then pour the sauce in the pan with the chicken and allow about 10 minutes to reduce the sauce.
With what to accompany the sauteed chicken with BBQ sauce
I recommend you to taste this delicious chicken stir fry with a very hot BBQ sauce and preferably freshly made. You can accompany it with white rice or pasta to which you can add the same BBQ sauce. A light red wine or beer could go well with this dish.
