Pasta Caesar salad recipe

Who doesn't love Caesar salad? It is a classic among that type of salads that we can serve as a single dish, because they have a little of everything, especially if we prepare this recipe for pasta Caesar salad, to which, as you can imagine from the name, a little is added pasta to round out its flavor.

Although in essence it is a normal Caesar salad with the extra pasta, it changes a lot by introducing the smoother texture of the pasta (I have used spirals) that combines perfectly with the rest of the flavors and textures of the salad.

  • Egg 1
  • Bread crumbs
  • Mezclum
  • Short dry pasta type spirals or similar 80 g

How to make pasta Caesar salad

Difficulty: Easy
  • Total time

We start, logically, by putting the water to boil. Meanwhile, we fillet the breast into thick fillets, smear it in beaten egg and pass it through the breadcrumbs. If you like it very crunchy, we can pass it again through the beaten egg and again through the bread.

When the water starts to boil, add plenty of salt and the pasta. Cook for the time indicated on the package, drain and let cool. On the other hand, fry the chicken breasts in plenty of oil, until they are golden brown. Remove and place them on a plate with kitchen paper to drain the excess oil.

Finally, we assemble the salad. In a bowl of the appropriate size, add the lettuce mix, the split cherry tomatoes, the pasta, the croutons and the chopped breasts. We add the Caesar sauce (here is the Caesar sauce recipe in case you want to make it at home) and finish with a little grated Parmesan cheese.

With what to accompany the pasta Caesar salad

Pasta Caesar salad is a perfect recipe when we want a complete salad that serves as a single dish and that, in addition to being delicious and providing us with everything we need to continue with energy the rest of the day, leaves us with a clear conscience because we only had a salad.
