No knead sliced bread recipe

Desserts

The defenders of the long yeasts to obtain almost perfect loaves may put their hands in their heads after seeing this recipe for sliced bread without kneading, but I assure you that for an emergency or if we are lazy to knead for a long time , this bread is great.

I will repeat it by giving the bread a different shape, although a mold will always be necessary as the dough is quite liquid and we will have to prevent it from spilling. I suggest using dried fruits, such as pipes or chopped walnuts to enrich the dough instead of aromatic herbs.

Ingredients

For 1 units
  • Extra virgin olive oil 60 g
  • Water 380 g
  • Compressed yeast 30 g
  • Force flour 400 g
  • Coarse sea salt, 1 teaspoon
  • Assorted herbs 1/2 teaspoon

We start by slightly heating the water and undo the yeast in it. Add the oil, half the flour and 1/2 teaspoon of salt and stir with a wooden spoon. Add the rest of the flour and stir again until everything is united.

Grease a plum cake mold with a little oil, line it with greaseproof paper and pour the bread mixture into it. Sprinkle the surface with the rest of the salt and the aromatic herbs. Let it rest in a warm place until the dough reaches the edge of the mold. Finally, we bake for about 40 minutes in a preheated oven at 200ºC.

With what to accompany the sliced bread without kneading

I think this no-knead sliced bread recipe is great for breakfast or a snack. I particularly love toasting it lightly on both sides before accompanying it with a good olive oil and a bit of cheese. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
