The other day, I saw that they sold sliced ​​pepperoni chorizo ​​in the supermarket and I was so surprised and happy that I bought it immediately and decided to use it to make some recipes with it.Today I bring you a recipe for pepperoni and funghi pizza, ideal for a dinner as a couple that is one of my favorites when I go out to eat at a pizzeria, and that I will finally be able to make at home, since until now, I had not seen this sausage in my supermarket.

The result is a tasty pizza, full of flavor, with the spicy touch of pepperoni and the intense flavor of mushrooms. It is so delicious that you will want to cheat on your partner with this trick to distribute the pizza and take a portion from him without him noticing.

Ingredients

  • Homemade or refrigerated pizza dough
  • Mozzarella cheese 1 ball
  • Tomato sauce 3 tablespoons
  • Chorizo ​​pepperoni (spicy) 12 slices
  • Boletus 12 pieces (can be frozen or dehydrated)
  • Extra virgin olive oil to taste
  • Dried oregano to taste

To make the homemade pizza dough, we mix 200 g of wheat flour, 3 g of fresh baker's yeast, 3 g of salt, 20 ml of extra virgin olive oil and 125 ml of water and knead them for about five minutes until ready. form a ball. Then, we put the dough in a bowl, cover it with kitchen film and let it rest for 30 minutes in which it will increase in size. While we prepare the oven preheating it to 225º. If you prefer, you can also use prepared pizza dough that you will find in your supermarket fresh in the refrigerated area or also frozen although the results are obviously not the same.

Once the pizza dough is ready, we stretch it with a rolling pin on the floured worktop and put it on the baking tray with a parchment paper or on a pizza pan, a very practical pot if you like to make homemade pizzas.

Spread the tomato on the pizza with the back of a spoon and distribute the cheese, pinching the mozzarella until the pizza is well covered. Then we arrange the pepperoni pieces and prepare the mushrooms, giving them a little sauté in the pan so that they do not make the pizza too moist.

Add a thread of olive oil and sprinkle with a little oregano. We bake at 225º in the oven with heat up and down, placing the pizza in the central area of ​​the oven. We will know that the pizza is ready when the edges - which we have folded a little on themselves - are well browned as you see in the images.
