Creamy chicken recipe


I don't know if you remember that a few months ago I decided to banish chicken from my kitchen for a while, because I had prepared it in so many ways that I was afraid I would end up catching it. What happens is that the other day my butcher seduced me with a good offer and I ended up taking a beautiful copy home.

I made a classic Caesar salad with the breasts, but with the rest I didn't really know what to do. Looking for my always-helpful mustard chicken recipe, google suggested I make cream chicken, so after flogging myself for not having thought of it before, I got down to it.

Ingredients for 2 or 3 people

1 chicken cut up (minus the breasts), 2 onions, 4 potatoes, 3 or 4 carrots, 1/2 glass of white wine, 400ml of cooking cream, salt, oil and pepper.

How to make cream chicken

Before taking action, we start by cleaning and cutting the chicken into smaller pieces (unless the butcher has already done it for you). We separate the thighs from the hindquarters and remove the ribs from the wings. We also clean the skin so that no hair remains.

With the chicken chopped and seasoned, we put a jet of oil to heat in a large pan, in which we will brown the pieces well on both sides. Then we remove the chicken and add the julienned onion and the peeled and sliced ​​carrots.

Sauté for a long time, put the chicken back, pour in the white wine, lower the heat a little and let it cook with a covered pan for 25-30 minutes. When the chicken is tender, add the liquid cream, adjust the salt and, if you are going, a small teaspoon of meat concentrate.

We lower the heat to a minimum and let the sauce thicken. To serve, we can accompany the cream chicken with diced french fries that are great for it, or we can even add them along with the rest of the vegetables when cooking the chicken.
