Sweet wine chicken recipe with truffles

Christmas is to blame for this recipe for sweet wine chicken with truffles. I found in the fridge a little jar of tiny truffles, which had been there since last Christmas and almost about to expire, one of those jars that you buy in the supermarket, which cost about 2 or 3 euros and that you always buy thinking that the he is going to cook during the holidays truffling something spectacular, but that usually ends up being hidden in a shelf of the refrigerator behind two envelopes of mustard that he no longer remembers how they got there and that he already throws it away because You can't find the expiration date anywhere.

So I don't know if it's because of Christmas or because of Christmas, we have eaten this delicious chicken dish in sweet wine with truffles and the fridge has been much tidier.

The ingredients

1 chopped chicken, 4 tomatoes, 1 onion, 1/2 liter of sweet wine, truffle, oil, 1 tablespoon of flour, salt and pepper.

The preparation of the chicken in sweet wine with truffles

Peel and chop the onion. Peel, remove the seeds and chop the tomatoes.

In a pot we heat a drizzle of olive oil, add to sauté the onion and tomatoes. When they are ready we add the chicken pieces.

We let the chicken brown. Once golden brown, pour the sweet wine into the pot and add some slices of truffles. Let it cook until the chicken is tender. Halfway through cooking season, add salt and pepper.

When the chicken is cooked, we remove only the pieces to a serving tray. We put the tablespoon of flour in a glass and thin it with a few tablespoons of the chicken sauce, stir to avoid lumps and pour it over all the sauce that remains in the pot, stir them and in less than a minute the sauce will have thickened. We pour the sauce over the chicken on the tray.

The tasting

We will serve the freshly made warm truffle sweet wine chicken.

We can accompany it with a salad or with a little white rice.

I have not put the amount of truffles since I have used the two that usually come in that type of jars, they are usually between 10 or 15 grams, but if instead of having them canned they are kept fresh, the amount varies considerably since the flavoring capacity is stronger.
