Spinach and feta cheese rolls. Recipe
I have mentioned it before and this recipe for spinach and feta cheese rolls certifies what I say. Feta cheese is great for making hot recipes, actually I like it much better than salads.
This recipe is a variant of Gordon Ramsay's The World in My Kitchen book. Although I have made many rolls or triangles with similar ingredients.
- 150 g of fresh spinach leaves, 150 g of feta cheese, 8 wafers of brick pasta, 1 egg, butter, olive oil and salt.
How to make spinach and feta cheese rolls
In a frying pan, heat a little olive oil and sauté the spinach leaves until they start to soften. At that point we put them aside and let them cool down.
Mix the chopped cheese and the egg with the spinach. We season.
We paint the wafers with the melted butter, cut them in two and put a little filling. We form rolls. Folding the sides a little inwards, over the dough and roll up.
Bake at 190 ºC for about 15 minutes. We take out and serve hot.
