Baked pork roti with milk and garlic sauce. Recipe

The pork loin is a perfect piece of meat to get out of trouble on the day that we do not feel like cooking a lot or spending more than we should in the supermarket. But to give this piece a special point, and that is not the typical piece of roast meat, I recommend you try this pork roti with milk and garlic sauce, a simple preparation, but one that adds a lot of personality to the meat.

The recipe begins and ends in an iron cocotte, but if you do not have it you can seal the meat in a normal casserole and then transfer it to a baking dish that has a lid.

  • Pork loin in one piece 1 kg
  • Whole milk 1 l
  • Garlic cloves 6
  • Laurel leaves 2
  • Extra virgin olive oil (2 tablespoons) 30 g
  • Concentrated chicken broth (pastilla) 1
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper

We will start by preheating the oven to 150 degrees. Peel the garlic cloves, and put them in a saucepan, add the bay leaves, the bouillon cube and the milk, bring everything to a boil and let it infuse out of the fire for 15 minutes.

Meanwhile in an iron cocotte we heat the oil and brown the pork loin seasoned over high heat. Add the milk with the garlic and the bay leaf, cover the cocotte and bake for 1 hour and a quarter.

When the time passes, we remove the cocotte from the oven, cut the loin into not very thick slices and strain the broth. We serve the meat with the hot sauce.
