Wine and gastronomy trails, Castilla La Mancha and Madrid
This week a new book for lovers of good food and good drinking, Wine and Gastronomy Trails, Castilla-La Mancha and Madrid, has been presented in Madrid.
Its authors are the Spanish-French chef Juan Miguel López Castanier (author of La cocina del Quijote) and Marcial Pita, editor-in-chief of the editorial department of Vinoselección Club de Vinos. Although he is a journalist, his love of winemaking has been inherited, as he affirms that good wines have always been drunk at home.
This new book offers information on different Castilian-La Mancha wineries that show passion for their work and for offering a great wine to the consumer, in addition to spreading the wine culture wherever they go. It also includes recipes to make a perfect pairing with the different wines, and for this it has had the collaboration of great chefs such as Alberto Chicote from the Nodo restaurant, Pedro Larumbe from the restaurant of the same name or Salvador Gallego, from El Cenador de Salvador.
The publication includes recipes that are ideal to enjoy the different wines, for which it has had the intervention of prestigious Madrid restaurateurs, such as Pedro Larumbe (Pedro Larumbe restaurant), Salvador Gallego (El Cenador de Salvador), or Alberto Chicote (Node). The final product is an excellent pairing between stoves and cellars. Via | The Galician Post
