Cuttlefish with brava sauce and microwaved potatoes, the surprising preparation that you will not tire of eating

It seems incredible how easy some dishes are. I had prepared at home my classic fried potatoes, with the authentic recipe that does not have tomato and I had left a little sauce that I kept in the fridge. The next day I saw some cuttlefish or chocos on sale at the market and with both I made this cuttlefish with brava sauce and potatoes in the microwave, an amazing preparation that is so rich that you will never tire of making it.

It couldn't be easier, and it only has these three ingredients, cuttlefish, brava sauce and cooked potatoes, and I assure you that in the last two months, we have already done it at home four or five times as much as we like. And I am not deceiving you if I tell you that now as I write it and see the images I took for its preparation, I am already looking forward to doing it again. Try this recipe, listen to me.

How to make cuttlefish with salsa brava

Cut the cuttlefish into strips and then cut them into blocks. In a frying pan with a few drops of olive oil, we are browning the cuttlefish tacos until they are very white and with small brown crusts on the outside, as seen in the first photo of the collage below.

On the other hand, we are cooking the potatoes in the microwave, and in this way we are giving more use, not only to heat breakfast. Peel the potatoes, cut them into pieces and prick them. Then we wrap them in plastic wrap, put them in the microwave and cook them at a power of 700W two successive series or batches of 5 minutes each, leaving a minute of waiting between them.

We prepare a classic brava sauce following the instructions in this recipe or if you don't have time or prefer it, you can use a commercial sauce. We serve the sauce on the golden pieces of cuttlefish and mix well over high heat, so that the cuttlefish is imbued with the flavor.

Add the cooked potato pieces and integrate them into the cuttlefish stew, stirring so that they are well distributed. After five minutes, we turn off the fire and let it rest for an hour before giving another heater and bringing it to the table, to the delight of diners.

To drink, a very very cold white wine is the perfect option.
